Sonia and Nathan organised their wedding to be casual and relax, exactly their personalities, with the minimum of fuss. The wedding was a lunchtime cocktail party with close family and friends at Public Dining Room, Balmoral Beach. The room was higlighted with simple white floral decorations, including some beautiful white roses by Stephanie's Wedding Bouquet Specialists in Frenchs Forest. Unfortunately the weather, as has been the case this year, was overcast and windy but the rain held off until we'd had some time outside on the beach and also kept the crowds away so unusually Balmoral Beach was clear for a bridal shoot. As with the relaxed nature of the day Sonia & Nathan arrived together with Nathan's son Hamish to greet guests and have a glass of champagne, before the celebrant Melinda Dunn invited the couple to the front for the marriage ceremony. Following the ceremony the guests all spilled out onto Balmoral Beach for some photographs before we took the couple and their son Hamish for a walk along Balmoral Beach to the island. Hamish was the entertainment pulling faces and making jokes.... especially when they were kissing! The afternoon was then spent with good wine, food, and lots of fun for all the guests back at the restaurant.... exactly the celebration Sonia & Nathan wanted. Comments
